Schedule: Monday–Friday, full-time | Rotating shifts between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM
Salary: $55,000–$60,000 annually + 10% performance bonus

About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization in the financial services sector, is seeking a Security Representative to join their Corporate Security team in downtown Toronto.
This is a fully on-site opportunity for a security professional who brings previous corporate security experience, a high level of professionalism, and exceptional communication and customer service skills.
As a member of a 10-person Corporate Security team, you’ll help protect employees, visitors, information, and facilities across a multi-floor corporate office environment. You’ll be responsible for maintaining a safe, secure, professional and welcoming workplace while responding effectively to incidents and employee needs.
Your Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and focused patrols across 7 floors of corporate office space.
- Monitor office spaces, security equipment and access points to identify and address security or safety concerns.
- Manage access control, including identity verification, badge access and security requests.
- Respond professionally to medical emergencies, unauthorized access, evacuations, unlawful activity and other security incidents.
- Monitor security systems and technology, including Genetec.
- Prepare clear and concise incident reports and support security investigations as required.
- Provide professional assistance to employees, executives, visitors, vendors and other stakeholders.
- Support security requirements for off-site corporate events, including occasional events in the United States.
- Maintain a calm, service-oriented approach while balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Corporate security experience is required; approximately 1+ year in a professional corporate environment will be considered.
- Post-secondary education is mandatory; field of study is flexible.
- Valid Ontario security licence as required under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act (PSISA).
- Required emergency response/first aid certifications must be current.
- Strong understanding of corporate security practices and professional workplace protocols.
- Experience with Genetec or similar security technology is an asset.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prepare clear, professional incident reports.
- Strong customer service skills and a polished, professional presence.
- Sound judgment and the ability to prioritize appropriately when supporting employees and senior executives.
- Confidence interacting with executives, employees, visitors, vendors and other stakeholders.
Schedule
This is a full-time, Monday–Friday, 100% on-site position.
Initial training will typically take place from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. Once training is complete, candidates must be comfortable working rotating shifts between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, which may include:
- 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
- 1:00 PM–9:00 PM
Flexibility to accommodate rotating shifts is required.
