About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to support a portfolio of high-profile strategic initiatives within a large public sector organization. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, can bring structure to ambiguity, and is comfortable managing significant risks, dependencies and competing priorities.
You’ll work closely with business, technical, architecture and operational teams to move initiatives from planning through implementation and transition to operations. With two positions available, this is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact across multiple projects while helping teams stay aligned, informed and focused on delivery.
What’s In It for You
You’ll join a collaborative environment where strong project management practices are valued and where your ability to influence, organize and problem-solve will be highly visible. You’ll gain exposure to strategic technology initiatives, senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams while contributing to work with broad organizational impact.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the planning and delivery of complex strategic and technology-focused projects.
• You’ll identify and actively manage risks, issues, dependencies, trade-offs and action items.
• You’ll translate target-state objectives into clear workstreams, milestones, sequencing, resource requirements and practical roadmaps.
• You’ll work with architecture and technical teams to understand standards, constraints and implementation requirements.
• You’ll develop project plans that support clear scope, timelines, resource availability and cost management.
• You’ll coordinate stakeholder, communication and organizational change management activities.
• You’ll facilitate estimation and variance-management discussions with functional teams.
Skills and Qualifications
• Senior-level project management experience (10 years) leading complex business and technology initiatives.
• Advanced experience managing ambiguity, risk, dependencies, competing priorities and trade-offs.
• Strong ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into scope, plans and deliverables.
• Intermediate understanding of architecture standards, with the ability to work effectively with architecture teams without designing solutions.
• Intermediate knowledge of SDLC/iDLC and modern project management and delivery practices.
• Advanced planning, estimation, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging senior and cross-functional stakeholders.
