About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a QA / Software Tester to support complex, enterprise-level technology initiatives within a public sector environment. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys digging into systems, identifying issues, and helping ensure digital solutions are reliable, accessible, and ready for the people who depend on them.
You’ll work alongside functional and technical teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, contributing across the full testing lifecycle. A key focus will be AODA and accessibility compliance, along with manual, automated, API, performance, and end-to-end testing.
What’s In It for You
You’ll gain hands-on exposure to large-scale enterprise systems while expanding your experience across accessibility, automation, API, and performance testing. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary environment that values collaboration, quality, adaptability, and systematic problem-solving.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll create and maintain test strategies, test cases, scripts, and test reports.
• You’ll perform manual and automated testing across complex enterprise applications.
• You’ll conduct AODA and accessibility testing to support compliance requirements.
• You’ll complete end-to-end functional and non-functional testing to ensure comprehensive coverage.
• You’ll perform automation and API testing using Selenium, Postman, or comparable tools.
• You’ll conduct performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
• You’ll identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or comparable platforms.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of software testing experience within enterprise-level IT environments.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, automated testing frameworks, and AODA/accessibility testing and compliance.
• Experience with Selenium, Postman, or similar automation and API testing tools.
• Experience with JMeter, LoadRunner, or comparable performance and load testing tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, QA compliance standards, and security testing best practices.
• Knowledge of SQL or Oracle, Azure or AWS, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.
• Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with Ontario public sector QA experience considered an asset.
