About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a polished and personable Receptionist to join a busy, professional shared office environment in Kanata. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of a workplace and takes pride in creating a positive experience for visitors and employees.
You’ll be at the centre of day-to-day office activity, working closely with internal teams, facilities and IT to keep the space organized and running smoothly. This three-month contract offers the potential to extend, and the team is looking for someone who can start immediately or with very little notice.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll greet visitors warmly, direct them appropriately and create a professional first impression.
• You’ll answer, screen and forward incoming calls to the appropriate contacts.
• You’ll book, set up and tidy meeting rooms and boardrooms, ensuring they are ready for use.
• You’ll manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries and couriers.
• You’ll support scheduling, filing, data entry and other general administrative needs.
• You’ll monitor reception and office supplies and help maintain clean, organized shared spaces.
• You’ll coordinate with IT, facilities and internal teams to support equipment, technical and operational needs.
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous administrative, reception or front-desk experience in a busy professional environment.
• Hospitality or customer-facing experience with a polished, confident and welcoming presence.
• Experience in a shared office or coworking environment is considered a strong asset.
• Strong communication, organization and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn quickly, manage competing priorities and support a smooth handover.
• Availability to begin immediately or with minimal notice.
