About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead a critical data migration workstream within a large-scale transformation program in the financial services sector. You’ll bring structure and momentum to a complex environment, connecting technical teams, business stakeholders and dependent workstreams to deliver successful migration outcomes.

This is a highly collaborative role for someone who understands both the technical details and the bigger business picture. You’ll work closely with stakeholders at multiple levels, including senior leadership, to manage risks, resolve challenges and keep a complex program moving forward.

What’s In It for You
You’ll gain exposure to a significant banking transformation initiative where your project leadership and technical knowledge will have a direct impact. You’ll work alongside cross-functional teams in an environment that values collaboration, accountability, sound judgment and high-quality delivery.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the data migration workstream, coordinating technical teams, business stakeholders and interdependent activities.
• You’ll oversee data environment readiness across mapping, testing, conversion and cutover activities.
• You’ll identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies, maintaining RAID logs and driving mitigation plans.
• You’ll translate complex technical challenges into clear business impacts, recommendations and escalation paths for leadership.
• You’ll own integrated tracking across scope, schedules, milestones, resources, actions and decisions.
• You’ll facilitate project and governance forums, maintain key project artifacts and ensure actions are followed through.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of project management experience leading technical transformation initiatives, ideally within Canadian financial services.
• Strong experience with data environments, data mapping, testing and test production management, cutover, conversion events, migration and SDLC/Agile delivery.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project, plus hands-on Jira and Jira ticket management experience.
• Intermediate Google Suite skills, with Tableau, Power BI or other reporting tools considered an asset.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities while collaborating effectively across teams without direct reporting relationships.
• Strong business acumen and written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging senior leadership.
• PMP or another project management designation is preferred but not required.
