About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Business Analyst to join the Information Technology function of a large public sector organization. You’ll support a business management team operating in a complex and evolving environment, helping turn business needs, data, and processes into practical solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
Reporting to a Solutions Manager, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners, peers, and leadership while working across business analysis, governance, reporting, and change support. This role is well suited to a versatile generalist who enjoys variety, can manage competing priorities, and is comfortable taking ownership of initiatives with moderate autonomy.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements across a variety of initiatives.
• You’ll develop process maps, workflows, business rules, operating frameworks, governance standards, and policies.
• You’ll analyze processes and recommend improvements that strengthen efficiency and business outcomes.
• You’ll collect and interpret data from multiple sources, using your findings to support management decision-making.
• You’ll develop reports, executive briefing materials, presentations, and concise summaries for leadership audiences.
• You’ll facilitate meetings, requirements sessions, and process reviews with cross-functional stakeholders.
• You’ll support change management communications, adoption activities, and compliance with operational controls.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a diploma, in Business Administration, Commerce, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience with business requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, process mapping, and workflow analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Power Query and Power Pivot.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with knowledge of business management and change management principles.
• Experience preparing executive-level presentations, summaries, reports, and recommendations.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and execute work independently with minimal supervision.
