About the Opportunity
Join a people-focused charitable foundation supporting the work of a specialized healthcare organization. As a Gift Administrator, you’ll help ensure donations are processed accurately and thoughtfully, contributing to fundraising efforts that make an important impact in the community.

You’ll join a collaborative operations team within a foundation working closely with fundraising, finance and database colleagues. This is a hands-on opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed administrative work, values accuracy and wants to contribute during one of the organization’s busiest fundraising periods.

What’s In It for You
You’ll become part of a respectful, curious and appreciative team where colleagues genuinely enjoy connecting and working together. This opportunity offers flexible part-time hours, exposure to charitable fundraising operations and the chance to build experience with donor databases, gift processing and financial reconciliation.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll receive, verify and process donations from multiple channels, including cheques, credit cards, online gifts and electronic payments.
• You’ll prepare charitable tax receipts, donor acknowledgements, deposits and supporting documentation.
• You’ll enter and maintain donor, gift, pledge and payment information, applying accurate coding and donor intent.
• You’ll perform regular data hygiene, identifying duplicate, incomplete or inconsistent records and completing corrections.
• You’ll generate reports, lists and spreadsheets and support routine reconciliation and audit preparation.
• You’ll respond professionally to routine donor inquiries by phone and email and collaborate with internal teams to resolve gift-processing questions.
• You’ll support fundraising campaigns and events by processing gifts and maintaining accurate documentation.

Skills and Qualifications
• 1+ year of administrative support, data entry, transaction processing, cash handling, reconciliation or customer service experience.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence working with high volumes of data and confidential information.
• Experience with databases or CRM systems; Raiser’s Edge NXT or other Blackbaud experience is a strong asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint.
• Fundraising, charitable or non-profit experience is an asset, including familiarity with the gift-to-stewardship cycle.
• Strong organization, judgement and follow-through, with the ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team.
• A service-minded communication style and comfort interacting professionally with donors, colleagues and members of the public.
