About the Opportunity
A growing manufacturing and packaging organization in Aurora is looking for an HR Recruitment Coordinator to support recruitment activities across the organization. This is a great opportunity for an early-career HR professional who wants hands-on exposure to the full recruitment cycle while continuing to build their skills in a supportive environment.
Working closely with HR leadership and hiring managers across multiple departments, you’ll help identify, engage, and coordinate talented candidates for a variety of roles. You’ll join a collaborative, people-focused workplace where initiative, resourcefulness, and new ideas are encouraged.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll post open positions and use online, social, and professional networks to identify potential candidates
• You’ll review applications and conduct initial screening interviews to assess candidate qualifications and suitability
• In this role, you’ll coordinate interviews and support communication between candidates, hiring managers, and HR leadership
• You’ll complete reference and background checks and maintain accurate recruitment records
• You’ll build and maintain candidate pipelines to support current and future hiring needs
• You’ll follow up with hiring managers to understand priorities and evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment activities
• You’ll provide recruitment administration support and contribute ideas to improve hiring and onboarding processes
Skills and Qualifications
• Entry-level to 2 years of HR or recruitment experience, including relevant co-op, internship, or hands-on recruitment experience
• Human Resources education, certification, or equivalent practical experience is an asset
• Exposure to candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, or relationship building
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, people-focused approach
• Strong computer skills, including comfort working in a Microsoft Windows environment and learning recruitment systems
• Excellent organization, initiative, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive HR information
