About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an IT Business Analyst to join a large, complex organization focused on operational excellence, technology governance and continuous improvement. In this role, you’ll provide day-to-day oversight of a Service Operating Model (SOM) application, helping ensure change requests are complete, approved, accurately reflected and successfully carried through connected platforms.

This is an operational and analytical role for someone who enjoys bringing structure to complex processes and working across teams to keep work moving. You’ll collaborate with service management, product, engineering, platform, data and architecture teams to strengthen governance, improve data quality and support reliable enterprise workflows.

What’s In It for You
You’ll gain valuable exposure to enterprise technology operations, service management, data governance and cross-functional initiatives. You’ll work in a collaborative environment where your ability to identify trends, improve processes and coordinate stakeholders can directly strengthen the reliability and efficiency of technology governance.

Your Responsibilities
  • You’ll oversee the SOM application and coordinate routine operational needs, issues and enhancements.
  • Manage SOM change requests from intake through review, approval, implementation and closure, validating rationale, ownership, taxonomy and hierarchy information.
  • Monitor automated workflows and downstream updates, investigate exceptions and coordinate resolution with appropriate teams.
  • Maintain data quality by identifying incomplete, inconsistent, duplicated or outdated information and driving corrective action with accountable owners.
  • Track approvals, aging, dependencies, service levels and recurring issues while providing operational reporting and insights.
  • Maintain process documentation, requirements, procedures, data definitions, governance controls and audit evidence.
  • Support user acceptance testing and recommend practical workflow, reporting, process and automation improvements.
Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, application operations, service management, data governance, process governance or a related technology role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing operational workflows, intake processes, approvals, issue resolution, data quality and application support processes.
  • Strong experience documenting business processes, requirements, procedures, business rules, data definitions and decision points.
  • Familiarity with service taxonomy, service hierarchy, data stewardship, governance controls, operational reporting, dashboards, metrics and service-level tracking.
  • Familiarity with LeanIX, ServiceNow, Planview, Workday, OneTrust or similar workflow and system-of-record platforms, plus Agile practices, backlogs, stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience supporting automated workflows or integrations and user acceptance testing, with strong analytical, organizational and stakeholder communication skills. Exposure to enterprise architecture or technology governance is an asset, but hands-on architecture design is not required.
