About the Opportunity

As the Information and Systems Lead, you’ll combine hands-on technical expertise with business judgment, helping teams work effectively while ensuring systems, information, and technology practices remain reliable and secure.
You’ll collaborate with employees, external technology partners, vendors, and stakeholders with varying levels of technical knowledge. This is a highly autonomous role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and translating technology needs into practical solutions.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll serve as the internal lead for day-to-day technology needs, working closely with third-party IT providers and technology vendors.
• You’ll manage business systems, software, licenses, equipment, upgrades, procurement, and technology-related vendor relationships.
• You’ll support teams in improving workflows using Microsoft 365, SharePoint, CRM platforms, database applications, and other business systems.
• You’ll oversee cybersecurity practices, IT policies, disaster planning, records management, and information governance.
• You’ll troubleshoot technical issues and provide practical training and support to users with different levels of technical experience.
• You’ll lead the technology requirements for a major annual organizational event, including planning, equipment, onsite support, contingency planning, and virtual platforms.
• You’ll contribute to technology budgeting, project delivery, and broader operational priorities.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3–5 years of relevant technology, information systems, or business systems experience
• College diploma, university degree, or equivalent experience in information systems, business, or a related area
• Advanced proficiency with Windows environments, Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, and Excel, including pivot tables and mail merges
• Experience with CRM/database applications, event management platforms, HTML, basic CSS and JavaScript, plus knowledge of CASL requirements
• Strong project management, vendor management, troubleshooting, and organizational skills
• Knowledge of cybersecurity, data security, records management, disaster planning, and evolving technology best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to travel for up to two weeks annually. Experience in a not-for-profit environment and French-language skills are assets.
