About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Azure and Databricks DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale, cloud-based data environment within a complex enterprise organization. You’ll help design, automate, secure, and operate modern data platforms that enable teams to deliver reliable analytics and data products.
Working closely with data engineers, architects, security professionals, product owners, and application teams, you’ll play a key role in improving platform reliability, deployment automation, security, and operational performance. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys solving technical challenges while building scalable, reusable solutions.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll design and manage Microsoft Azure infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
• You’ll build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
• You’ll administer Azure Databricks workspaces, clusters, jobs, workflows, repos, libraries, permissions, cluster policies, secret scopes, and Unity Catalog.
• You’ll automate deployments across development, UAT, and production environments.
• You’ll support Azure services including ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Monitor, and Log Analytics.
• You’ll implement security controls including RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID, managed identities, service principals, private endpoints, and secrets management.
• You’ll support production operations, monitoring, incident response, troubleshooting, performance optimization, cost management, and technical documentation.
Skills and Qualifications
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, or Data Platform Engineer in Azure environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Azure Databricks administration, Unity Catalog, and deployment automation.
• Strong Terraform experience and practical knowledge of Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins, plus Git branching, pull requests, code reviews, and release management.
• Strong scripting skills using Python, PowerShell, Bash, and SQL.
• Experience with Azure identity, security, monitoring, and logging technologies, including Entra ID, RBAC, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, or Databricks system tables.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and technical documentation skills.
