About the Opportunity
This permanent opportunity is ideal for an experienced infrastructure professional who enjoys combining hands-on AWS expertise with architecture, operational leadership, and continuous improvement. You’ll help build and maintain secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure while influencing standards and best practices across the technology environment.
Working closely with DevOps, Security, Application, Salesforce, and support teams, you’ll be a trusted technical resource and escalation point. Your work will directly contribute to platform reliability, business continuity, security, and the organization’s evolving cloud strategy.
What’s In It for You
You’ll have the opportunity to take ownership of complex cloud infrastructure while expanding your exposure across AWS, Salesforce, networking, disaster recovery, and infrastructure architecture. You’ll join a collaborative environment where technical leadership, knowledge sharing, innovation, and continuous improvement are valued.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll deploy, administer, monitor, and optimize highly available AWS environments using EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, EBS, Auto Scaling, and CloudFormation.
• You’ll design and manage AWS networking, including VPCs, subnets, routing, NAT and internet gateways, VPNs, and Direct Connect.
• You’ll automate infrastructure provisioning and operational tasks using Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• You’ll lead infrastructure architecture initiatives spanning cloud and on-premises environments, establishing standards and reference architectures.
• You’ll design and test backup and disaster recovery solutions using AWS Backup, S3, Glacier, cross-region replication, and high-availability strategies.
• You’ll support Salesforce administration initiatives and collaborate across DevOps, Security, Application, and support teams.
• You’ll act as a technical lead, mentor junior engineers, support audit readiness, and provide after-hours support when critical needs arise.
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of systems administration experience, including at least 3 years in an AWS SysOps Administrator or similar role, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and 15 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS infrastructure, networking, security, monitoring, performance, and cost optimization.
• Required AWS certification in good standing, with additional AWS, Azure, Microsoft, Linux, or Salesforce certifications considered an asset.
• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
• Demonstrated experience implementing backup and disaster recovery solutions, plus familiarity with Salesforce administration.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, collaboration, leadership, and communication skills.
