You’ll work closely with application support teams, infrastructure specialists, developers, architects, project managers, QA professionals, and other stakeholders. Your work will directly support the availability, security, integrity, recoverability, and performance of critical applications and services.

You’ll join a collaborative environment that values knowledge sharing, strong technical standards, and practical solutions that support meaningful business outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll administer, monitor, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments, including SQL Server 2019, 2022, and 2025.
• You’ll configure and support Failover Clustering and Always On Availability Groups, including monitoring, failover, and troubleshooting.
• You’ll diagnose and resolve performance, data integrity, security, configuration, and recovery issues.
• You’ll design and implement REST API integrations using established integration and security best practices.
• You’ll support SQL Server upgrades, backup and recovery, HA/DR strategies, release implementations, patching, and change requests.
• You’ll collaborate on solution and data architecture while supporting middleware, gateways, application monitoring, and enterprise integrations.
• You’ll produce technical documentation, complete code reviews and unit testing, and provide knowledge transfer to technical teams.

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive database administration or related enterprise technology experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server 2019, 2022, and 2025, including upgrades from 2019 to 2022 and 2022 to 2025.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Oracle 19c, DB2 on Windows, or DB2 on z/OS.
• Strong experience with performance tuning, indexing, query optimization, backup and recovery, HA/DR, clustering, and Always On Availability Groups.
• Experience designing and implementing REST API integrations and working with middleware, gateways, development, and mainframe technologies.
• Experience with Agile delivery, structured development methodologies, change management, release management, and application support.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, collaboration, and written and verbal communication skills.
