About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Records Management Clerk to support an important records digitization and file management project within a professional organization. This is a hands-on opportunity to help modernize employee records, reduce physical file storage, and ensure documentation is managed in accordance with established retention requirements.
You’ll work on-site as part of a supportive team, collaborating closely with colleagues while independently managing detailed clerical and records-related tasks. If you enjoy bringing order to information, working through a tangible project, and seeing the impact of your work, this could be a great fit.
What’s In It for You
You’ll join a collaborative environment where you’ll never be working on-site alone and will have support from team members throughout the project. The three-day on-site schedule offers flexibility in choosing your workdays, excluding Fridays, while contributing to a defined project with clear goals and deliverables.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll organize and sort physical employee personnel files to support efficient records management.
• You’ll digitize active employee files and maintain accurate electronic records using SharePoint.
• You’ll prepare inactive employee files less than seven years old for secure offsite storage.
• You’ll identify former employee files older than seven years and prepare them for secure destruction.
• You’ll digitize meeting minutes and accident-related reports dated around a decade.
• You’ll prepare minutes and accident records.
Skills and Qualifications
• Previous clerical or administrative experience, ideally involving records or file management.
• Strong attention to detail and a highly organized approach to managing documents.
• Experience working with physical and digital filing systems.
