About the Opportunity
Are you someone who enjoys being the welcoming face of an organization and creating a positive experience from the very first interaction? We’re hiring a Bilingual Receptionist for a full-time, permanent opportunity with a mission-driven non-profit organization in Toronto.
As a key member of the Property Operations team, you’ll connect with staff, volunteers, service users, vendors, and visitors in both English and French. You’ll combine exceptional customer service with hands-on administrative and office support, helping create an organized, accessible, and welcoming workplace.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll welcome visitors and answer incoming calls, providing information and directing inquiries to the appropriate team members.
• You’ll respond to questions, concerns, and complaints with professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
• You’ll coordinate meetings, events, catering, calendars, facility repairs, invoices, and other administrative activities.
• You’ll maintain records and reports using Microsoft 365, Tactic, and other internal applications and databases.
• You’ll coordinate incoming and outgoing mail and courier shipments using Canada Post, FedEx, Purolator, and same-day courier services.
• You’ll collaborate with the Property Operations team on facility needs, workplace safety initiatives, and day-to-day office operations.
Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of proven experience in reception, administration, or customer service.
• Fluency in English and French, with strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to accurately translate general written information.
• High school diploma or equivalent, with a college diploma or certification in office administration or a related field considered an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, and OneDrive.
• Strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage changing priorities, balance multiple tasks, follow verbal and written direction, and work independently.
• Experience with Tactic or similar workplace applications and databases is an asset.
