You’ll help ensure products are accurately classified for Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) requirements and appropriate storage within fulfillment centres, including considerations related to flammable and combustible products.

You’ll work closely with fulfillment teams, internal business partners and third-party sellers to gather product information, review Safety Data Sheets (SDSs) and resolve classification issues. You’ll also support sellers who may be less familiar with technical compliance requirements, helping enable safe and compliant product onboarding.

What’s In It for You
You’ll gain hands-on exposure to large-scale eCommerce, supply chain and fulfillment operations while strengthening your expertise in product compliance and regulatory classification. You’ll work across multiple teams, use data and technology to solve problems, and contribute to process improvements that make product onboarding more efficient.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll review products throughout the item setup process to identify potentially regulated goods and determine appropriate TDG and storage classifications.
• You’ll interpret Safety Data Sheets and other product information to support accurate classification and compliance.
• You’ll assess available product data and images using internal systems and resources to support classification decisions.
• You’ll work with internal teams and third-party sellers to obtain missing information and resolve regulated product setup issues.
• You’ll help ensure products are appropriately classified for storage within fulfillment centre environments.
• You’ll use Excel, data and internal tools to monitor compliance, identify trends and support program effectiveness.
• You’ll identify opportunities to improve workflows and implement scalable compliance processes.

Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience in Transportation of Dangerous Goods compliance, classification or a related regulatory field.
• Hands-on experience interpreting and applying Safety Data Sheets to support product classification.
• Experience in supply chain, inventory, retail, eCommerce, product compliance or fulfillment operations.
• Experience with Fire and Life Safety commodity classification is considered an asset.
• Strong Excel skills and the ability to work effectively with data and internal systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a process-oriented approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical stakeholders and build relationships across teams.
