Senior Systems Analyst

Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week

About the Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Analyst to support a major enterprise transformation within a large public sector environment. You’ll play a key role in implementing IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS), helping modernize an established enterprise work management platform and the processes that support it.

Working closely with business stakeholders, technical teams and project leadership, you’ll translate complex operational needs into practical system solutions. Your expertise in Maximo will be central to shaping processes, integrations, testing and implementation while helping teams successfully adopt the new solution.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead systems analysis activities supporting the implementation of IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS) and replacement of an existing Maximo environment.
• You’ll facilitate stakeholder workshops, gather requirements and translate business needs into functional, technical and non-functional requirements.
• You’ll document current and future-state processes using BPMN, including workflows, procedures, roles, responsibilities and system requirements.
• You’ll evaluate system design options and support integrations between Maximo and other enterprise platforms.
• You’ll lead QA activities including test planning, test case development, requirements traceability, functional testing and UAT support.
• You’ll develop operational procedures, training materials and sustainment documentation to support implementation and rollout.
• You’ll contribute to enterprise work management standards, procurement documentation and continuous process improvement.

Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of application systems experience, including requirements elicitation, analysis and stakeholder facilitation for large-scale technology implementations.
• 10+ years of hands-on technical and functional experience with IBM Maximo v7 or v8, including IBM Maximo Asset Management and/or IBM Maximo Application Suite.
• Extensive Maximo implementation experience supporting asset management, preventative maintenance, capital projects, vendor management, service requests and work orders, including web, geospatial and mobile technologies.
• 10+ years of experience analyzing and designing business processes, including strong BPMN and current-state/future-state process documentation skills.
• Strong QA and testing experience, including test planning, test data, functional testing and UAT. HP ALM experience is an asset.
• A university degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Public sector experience is strongly preferred, along with knowledge of Agile methodologies, data and business modelling, information management and enterprise technology environments.
