About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Senior Analyst, IT Vendor Management to join the Vendor Management Office of a large enterprise technology environment. This is a senior individual contributor role where you’ll independently lead vendor governance workstreams, strengthen commercial outcomes, and help ensure technology partners deliver on performance, quality, risk, and value.

You’ll work closely with senior technology leaders, Finance, Legal, Procurement, vendor partners, and fellow VMO professionals. Alongside owning complex vendor and contractual matters, you’ll mentor junior analysts and help evolve the processes, tools, and standards that support a high-performing governance function.

What’s In It for You
This is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership of a complex technology vendor portfolio while gaining exposure to senior stakeholders and enterprise-level initiatives. You’ll join a collaborative environment that values accountability, continuous improvement, thoughtful decision-making, and knowledge sharing.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead vendor governance workstreams, QBRs, performance reviews, issue resolution, risk management, and stakeholder coordination.
• You’ll review statements of work, contract amendments, vendor agreements, and commercial terms, identifying opportunities to reduce risk and strengthen value.
• You’ll own vendor performance monitoring, including KPIs, SLAs, scorecards, Power BI dashboards, corrective actions, and executive reporting.
• You’ll lead portfolio-level demand and capacity forecasting, financial analysis, invoice management, reconciliation, and procurement activities.
• You’ll identify contractual, financial, operational, compliance, and concentration risks and recommend practical mitigation strategies.
• You’ll improve VMO processes by developing SOPs, playbooks, governance templates, reporting tools, and analytical frameworks.
• You’ll mentor junior analysts, quality-assure deliverables, and support negotiations and complex vendor escalations.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive experience in vendor management, IT procurement, sourcing, commercial or contract management, supply chain operations, or a related field.
• Experience independently leading IT vendor governance, commercial initiatives, contracts, or procurement activities within a large or complex organization.
• Proficiency with vendor management and procurement platforms such as SAP Fieldglass, Beeline, Ariba and/or Workday.
• Strong knowledge of IT contracts, SLA frameworks, commercial terms, and staffing, managed services, professional services, and application development supplier models.
• Advanced Excel and strong PowerPoint skills, with experience producing executive-ready reporting and presentations. Power BI experience is also valuable.
• Experience with financial analysis, demand and capacity planning, commercial risk identification, process improvement, and ideally cost savings or cost avoidance initiatives.
• A relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, paired with strong communication, stakeholder management, negotiation, and mentoring capabilities.

Note from the Hiring Manager
“We’re looking for someone who can confidently take ownership of complex vendor relationships and bring both commercial judgment and a continuous improvement mindset. You’ll have the opportunity to influence how we work, mentor others, and turn data and governance into meaningful business outcomes.”
