About the Opportunity
We are seeking an energetic and relationship-driven Healthcare Recruiter to join a community services organization dedicated to making a meaningful difference in people’s lives. In this role, you’ll lead recruitment efforts for frontline healthcare professionals, with a particular focus on Personal Support Workers (PSWs), helping build strong teams that provide essential services within the community.

You’ll take a quality-focused approach to sourcing and selection, building relationships with candidates, understanding what motivates them, and creating excitement around opportunities to make an impact through human services.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll manage recruitment activities for frontline healthcare and community services positions, including Personal Support Workers (PSWs).
• You’ll proactively source qualified candidates using job boards, LinkedIn, networking, referrals, and other creative sourcing strategies.
• You’ll screen and assess candidates with a strong focus on quality, fit, experience, and alignment with organizational values.
• You’ll build candidate pipelines to support ongoing and future staffing requirements.
• You’ll create an engaging candidate experience, clearly communicating the impact and purpose behind each opportunity.
• You’ll partner with hiring leaders to understand staffing priorities and identify candidates who can succeed in demanding human services environments.
• You’ll manage multiple recruitment priorities while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and a high standard of candidate quality.

Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of recruitment experience within healthcare and/or community services, including direct experience recruiting Personal Support Workers (PSWs).
• Proven experience developing and executing proactive candidate sourcing strategies.
• Strong understanding of quality-focused recruitment and the ability to balance hiring needs with careful candidate assessment.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven recruitment environment while managing multiple vacancies.
• Strong candidate engagement and relationship-building skills with the ability to generate excitement about frontline healthcare and community services opportunities.
• Energetic, proactive, and passionate about recruitment and the human services sector.
• Excellent communication, organization, and stakeholder management skills.
