QA Tester

About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst to contribute to a large-scale digital health transformation initiative within the public healthcare sector. This full-time contract is focused on improving healthcare delivery through effective information management and technology, with work performed remotely from within Canada.

You’ll collaborate with technical, business and clinical stakeholders to ensure critical information systems perform as intended. This is an opportunity to bring deep QA expertise to a complex clinical environment where reliable technology directly supports healthcare teams and the services they deliver.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll develop and execute comprehensive test scenarios, scripts and cases to validate functional and non-functional requirements
• You’ll perform testing across information systems, including clinical applications and Altera Sunrise implementations
• You’ll design test cases and conduct software testing for client/server and web-based applications
• You’ll support information system implementation projects and process mapping activities
• You’ll document functional and non-functional requirements and business processes, identifying capability gaps and validating solutions
• You’ll document defects, track resolutions and support quality assurance reporting

Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience developing and executing test scenarios, scripts and test cases against functional and non-functional requirements
• 5+ years developing detailed test cases and scenarios and executing information systems testing, including experience in a clinical setting
• 5+ years in an analyst role supporting information system implementations and process mapping, including requirements and gap analysis
• 5+ years of software testing experience, including test case design for client/server and web-based applications
• 6+ months of hands-on experience developing scenarios and executing testing for Altera Sunrise suite implementations within a clinical environment
• Degree, diploma or certification in Software Engineering, with proof of education required as part of the submission process
