About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst who thrives at the intersection of data, technology, and business decision-making. In this hands-on role within a large enterprise environment, you’ll take ownership of executive-facing reporting and semantic modeling, helping leaders access reliable insights to plan, manage, and operate technology effectively.
You’ll work closely with engineering, operational, and cross-functional partners to transform complex business questions into scalable analytics solutions. This is an opportunity to influence how data is modeled, governed, automated, and ultimately used, while contributing to Power BI, automation, AI, and data engineering initiatives.
What’s In It for You
You’ll have meaningful ownership of enterprise-scale analytics solutions and exposure to modern technologies across the Microsoft data ecosystem. You’ll also have the opportunity to solve complex problems, collaborate with technical and business partners, and help shape standards that improve reporting, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
Your Responsibilities
• You’ll own and evolve enterprise Power BI semantic models, including scalable star schemas, relationships, calculation groups, advanced DAX, and reusable metrics.
• You’ll create executive-grade dashboards and self-service reporting solutions while establishing standards for governance, security, performance, and report design.
• You’ll build data models, pipelines, and integration patterns across Azure, Databricks, Fabric, and multiple source systems.
• You’ll maintain and lightly enhance an existing R/Shiny application, applying sound Git and documentation practices.
• You’ll automate operational workflows using Python, Power Platform, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, and enterprise channels such as Microsoft Teams.
• You’ll develop AI-powered solutions and apply forecasting, clustering, anomaly detection, and segmentation where they create lasting value.
• You’ll identify data quality issues, drive resolution with partners, and translate ambiguous questions into clear analytical frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
• Demonstrated deep, hands-on Power BI development experience, including enterprise semantic modeling, advanced DAX, administration, row-level security, and executive dashboard delivery.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, DAX, and Python.
• Familiarity with Azure, Databricks, Fabric, and data architecture within the Microsoft ecosystem.
• Working knowledge of R and Shiny, with the ability to maintain and lightly extend a production application.
• Experience building AI-powered workflow tools and thoughtfully integrating AI into analytics and automation.
• Experience integrating multiple data sources and resolving data quality and reconciliation issues.
• Strong communication skills, self-direction, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
