Your Responsibilities

• You'll lead enterprise IT projects, managing project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and deliverables from initiation through implementation.

• You'll develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, schedules, governance materials, status reports, and supporting documentation.

• You'll collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project objectives, milestones, and quality standards are achieved.

• You'll provide recommendations to improve project documentation, frameworks, standards, and published materials to support consistent project delivery.

• You'll prepare cost-benefit analyses and contribute to project planning, reporting, and governance activities.

• You'll oversee project activities across enterprise technology environments while ensuring alignment with established I&IT project management frameworks.

 

Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive IT project management experience leading large-scale enterprise technology projects.

• 10+ years of experience creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation and governance artifacts.

• Demonstrated knowledge of I&IT Project Management frameworks and enterprise project delivery methodologies.

• Experience working with Oracle Database, Unix (Solaris, AIX, Linux), Windows Server platforms, Oracle WebLogic, Microsoft IIS, and Mainframe environments.

• Experience using tools to create, distribute, and maintain project documentation, along with preparing cost-benefit analyses.

• Previous experience working within the Ontario Public Service (OPS) and familiarity with OPS policies, procedures, and governance is required.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
