In this role, you will play an integral part in supporting investigations, committee processes, and disciplinary matters while working closely with legal counsel, investigators, committee members, and internal stakeholders. Your Responsibilities
• You'll serve as the first point of contact for inquiries related to complaints, investigations, discipline matters, unauthorized practice, and Professional Conduct processes.
• You'll coordinate the intake and administration of complaints and investigations while maintaining accurate, confidential case files and case management records.
• You'll prepare correspondence, disclosure packages, committee materials, hearing documentation, and draft meeting minutes in support of Professional Conduct activities.
• You'll coordinate meetings and hearings, including scheduling committee members, legal counsel, investigators, witnesses, and other stakeholders while managing meeting logistics and documentation.
• You'll monitor compliance with committee decisions, maintain public register information in accordance with legislative requirements, and support post-decision follow-up activities.
• You'll contribute to process improvements, research initiatives, policy implementation, and special projects that strengthen Professional Conduct operations.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of administrative or coordinator experience, preferably within a regulatory body, legal environment, healthcare organization, or investigations setting.
• Post-secondary education in law, public administration, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience supporting committees, preparing agendas, meeting materials, minutes, and maintaining confidential records.
• Knowledge of legislative or regulatory environments, with familiarity with the Regulated Health Professions Act, the Health Professions Procedural Code, and administrative law considered an asset.
• Strong written communication skills with experience drafting professional correspondence, reports, and meeting documentation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, electronic document management systems, and case management databases.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage competing priorities while exercising sound judgment, discretion, and professionalism.
