Project Manager – AI Ops Automation (ServiceNow)

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of a high-profile AI Ops Automation workstream within a large-scale ServiceNow Integrated Success Program.
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of ServiceNow, AI, and enterprise IT transformation, leading initiatives that automate IT operations, improve service delivery, and enable intelligent workflows across the organization.
You'll collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, ServiceNow specialists, product owners, and program leadership to deliver automation capabilities through agile execution, while ensuring governance, quality, and measurable business outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead end-to-end delivery of the AI Ops Automation workstream, ensuring projects remain on scope, on schedule, and aligned with business objectives.
- Drive workstream planning and execution across discovery, requirements gathering, backlog management, sprint planning, testing, release readiness, deployment, and hypercare.
- Coordinate delivery of ServiceNow AI capabilities, including Now Assist, agentic automation, ITSM automation, IT Operations (ITOM) use cases, service desk automation, and workflow automation.
- Partner with product owners and technical teams to prioritize automation opportunities and prepare work for sprint execution.
- Facilitate sprint planning sessions, dependency reviews, stakeholder meetings, and cross-functional working groups.
- Manage project schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, and resource planning.
- Identify and proactively resolve delivery risks, blockers, and dependencies while escalating critical issues to program leadership.
- Prepare executive-ready status reports, governance updates, dashboards, and workstream communications.
- Support agile delivery through sprint planning, backlog readiness, release coordination, and continuous stakeholder engagement.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience managing enterprise-scale IT projects involving multiple workstreams, technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Previous experience delivering multiple ServiceNow projects (required).
- Strong understanding of Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog management, dependency tracking, and release planning.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing complex project dependencies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Demonstrated ability to manage risks, resolve blockers, and drive projects through to successful delivery.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-enabled ServiceNow capabilities, including Now Assist or automation initiatives.
- Familiarity with Planview, Jira, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint.
- PMP, CSM, SAFe, or other project management/agile certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Management, or equivalent experience.
