Your Responsibilities
• You'll design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using RPG IV, ILE RPG, SQLRPGLE, Free Format RPG, CL, and DB2/400.
• You'll deliver new functionality, enhancements, and production fixes while supporting the full software development lifecycle, with a primary focus on development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• You'll develop and support integrations with enterprise platforms using APIs, web services, EDI, messaging technologies, and file transfer solutions.
• You'll support critical distribution and supply chain applications, including warehouse operations, inventory management, transportation, customer fulfillment, order management, and Track & Trace initiatives.
• You'll investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions that improve operational stability.
• You'll contribute to modernization initiatives including RPG Free conversion, SQL modernization, API enablement, Git-based source control, DevOps practices, and AI-assisted development.
Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive experience developing enterprise applications on IBM i / AS400 platforms.
• Advanced experience with RPG IV, ILE RPG, Free Format RPG, SQLRPGLE, CL, and DB2/400.
• Experience designing and supporting APIs, web services, EDI integrations, messaging platforms, and file transfer technologies.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle methodologies, production support, and application troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting warehouse, inventory, transportation, distribution, or supply chain systems is considered a strong asset.
• Familiarity with Git, DevOps practices, SQL modernization, and legacy application modernization initiatives.
• Bilingualism in English and French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
