Talent Development Specialist

Location: Mississauga, ON 3 days on site- Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (Occasional travel within Canada required)
Language: Fully bilingual in English and French (spoken and written) is required. You will regularly support employees and leaders in both official languages.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll coordinate onboarding programs that create a welcoming and engaging experience for new employees, ensuring orientation activities, documentation, and learning resources are delivered in both English and French where required.
• You'll support the planning, coordination, and delivery of learning and development programs, including training sessions, leadership development initiatives, and educational resources.
• You'll partner with leaders to support performance management activities, employee development planning, and talent initiatives across bilingual teams.
• You'll contribute to employee engagement programs, helping develop communications and initiatives that foster an inclusive and collaborative workplace.
• You'll maintain HR systems, learning records, and program metrics while preparing reports and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• You'll provide day-to-day guidance to employees and leaders, responding to inquiries professionally in both English and French.

Skills and Qualifications
• 1 to 3 years of progressive experience in talent development, learning and development, employee experience, organizational development, or human resources.
• Fluency in both English and French, with exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both languages, is required.
• College diploma or university degree in Human Resources, Adult Education, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• CHRP designation, or progress toward obtaining it, is considered an asset.
• Experience coordinating employee onboarding, learning programs, performance management activities, or employee engagement initiatives.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, proactive approach and a genuine passion for helping employees learn, develop, and succeed.
