• Be part of a workplace that celebrates collaboration through team events, volunteer initiatives, and employee appreciation activities.

Your Responsibilities

• You'll manage a portfolio of private and public clients, delivering accounting, assurance, tax, and advisory services.

• You'll lead engagements from planning and scheduling through financial statement review and final sign-off.

• You'll build trusted client relationships by providing guidance on financial reporting and business matters.

• You'll review the work of Staff and Senior Accountants while remaining hands-on throughout engagements when needed.

• You'll mentor and support a small team, helping develop technical skills and career growth.

• You'll identify opportunities to strengthen existing client relationships and contribute to new business development.

• You'll monitor engagement budgets, timelines, and reporting deadlines to ensure high-quality client service.

Skills and Qualifications

• 4+ years of progressive public accounting experience, including experience leading assurance engagements.

• CPA designation required, or near completion with significant relevant experience considered.

• Previous leadership experience as a Manager, or a Senior Staff Accountant with supervisory experience ready to advance.

• Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting and assurance standards, with experience supporting tax engagements.

• Experience using accounting and tax software, including CaseWare and TaxPrep.

• Excellent client relationship, communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.

• Exposure to a variety of industries is required. Experience supporting technology clients, IFRS, US GAAP, or ASPE reporting is considered an asset.
