Your Responsibilities
• You'll develop and execute comprehensive test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex enterprise applications.
• You'll perform both manual and automated testing across functional, integration, system, regression, API, accessibility, and performance testing activities.
• You'll identify, document, and track software defects using enterprise defect management tools while working closely with development teams to resolve issues.
• You'll validate application compliance with AODA accessibility standards, security best practices, and established quality assurance standards.
• You'll support Agile delivery teams by participating in sprint planning, testing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• You'll contribute to test automation frameworks and CI/CD processes to improve testing efficiency and application quality.
Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of progressive software testing experience within enterprise-level IT environments and large-scale systems.
• Hands-on experience with manual testing, automated testing frameworks, and automation planning.
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall testing methodologies.
• Extensive experience with AODA accessibility testing and compliance requirements.
• Experience using Selenium, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar testing tools.
• Proficiency with SQL or Oracle databases, cloud platforms including Azure or AWS, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or GitLab.
• Experience with defect tracking tools including JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Ontario Public Service quality assurance standards and practices is considered a strong asset.
