Your Responsibilities
• You'll manage a portfolio of community housing properties across multiple sites.
• You'll build positive relationships with tenants by responding to inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing exceptional customer service.
• You'll coordinate move-ins, move-outs, lease reviews, and tenancy matters while ensuring compliance with housing legislation and organizational policies.
• You'll prepare for and participate in Landlord and Tenant Board hearings and manage tenancy-related documentation.
• You'll work closely with maintenance teams and contractors to support building operations, planned maintenance, and resident satisfaction.
• You'll collaborate with community agencies and internal partners to support residents and resolve complex housing situations.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of progressive property management experience, ideally within social or community housing.
• Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act, Landlord and Tenant Board procedures, Housing Services Act, and rent-geared-to-income administration.
• Property Management accreditation is preferred. A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in a related field is preferred, with equivalent experience considered.
• Valid Ontario driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution, negotiation, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office and other relevant business applications.
