About the Opportunity
Are you passionate about using research to shape better health outcomes? This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected health policy and research organization dedicated to advancing health equity across Ontario. Working alongside a collaborative team of researchers, you'll contribute to projects that inform public policy and support evidence-based decision making on issues that have a meaningful impact on communities.

In this role, you'll take the lead on quantitative research initiatives while collaborating on mixed methods studies that combine statistical analysis with community perspectives. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to high-profile health system projects, publish your work, and take on leadership responsibilities within your assigned research portfolio.

What's In It for You
• Join a mission-driven organization where your research directly informs public policy and health system planning.
• Collaborate with experienced researchers in a supportive, highly engaged team environment.
• Gain exposure to complex, population-level research projects with opportunities to lead publications and knowledge translation activities.
• Enjoy a hybrid work environment that values collaboration, flexibility, and professional growth.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead quantitative analyses using large population-level datasets to answer timely, policy-relevant research questions.
• You'll apply statistical methods, including regression analysis, using software such as R/RStudio or SPSS.
• You'll contribute to mixed methods research by integrating quantitative findings with interviews, consultations, and other qualitative evidence.
• You'll conduct literature reviews and evidence syntheses to support research priorities and policy development.
• You'll translate research findings into reports, data visualizations, presentations, and practical recommendations for diverse audiences.
• You'll collaborate with researchers and project stakeholders to deliver high-quality research within established timelines.

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of professional research experience, supported by a Master's degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Services Research, Sociology, Statistics, Social Research, or a related field.
• Strong quantitative research experience, including statistical analysis, regression modelling, and managing large datasets.
• Proficiency with R/RStudio is preferred. Experience using SPSS is also welcomed.
• Experience applying mixed methods research approaches, including integrating quantitative and qualitative findings.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex research findings through reports, presentations, publications, and policy recommendations.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of health equity, population health, health services research, or the social determinants of health is considered an asset.
