About the Opportunity
Are you a hands-on professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and quality workmanship? We are recruiting for a Warranty Technician to join a well-established residential home builder in Ottawa. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring homeowners have a positive experience by resolving warranty-related concerns with professionalism, attention to detail, and care.

Working closely with the Site Superintendent, you will support homeowners through both pre-occupancy and post-possession warranty service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a carpentry or handyman background who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and building strong relationships while making a meaningful impact on the customer experience.

• Competitive salary of $60,000 to $70,000, with flexibility for the right candidate

Your Responsibilities
• You'll respond to homeowner warranty concerns before and after occupancy with professionalism and care
• You'll complete minor repairs, including drywall patching, painting, and general carpentry work
• You'll perform visual inspections to assess warranty-related deficiencies and recommend appropriate solutions
• You'll coordinate additional repairs with trade partners when specialized work is required
• You'll maintain accurate records while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
• You'll participate in the on-call rotation approximately once every five to six weeks

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of residential construction experience
• Experience in carpentry, handyman services, or residential finishing repairs
• Familiarity with the Tarion Warranty Program
• Own tools required
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while delivering outstanding customer service
• Valid driver's licence required
