About the Opportunity
Are you a hands-on Network Analyst who enjoys working across both modern and traditional networking environments? This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative IT team supporting a complex enterprise infrastructure where you'll contribute to both day-to-day operations and key network initiatives.
Working within a large public sector environment, you'll help maintain and enhance critical LAN and WAN infrastructure while collaborating with experienced technical professionals. This role offers the opportunity to build on your expertise in software-defined networking while gaining exposure to a diverse enterprise network environment.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise LAN and WAN infrastructure.
• You'll monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and perform root cause analysis to maintain reliable service.
• You'll install, configure, test, and upgrade network hardware and software as part of ongoing operational and project initiatives.
• You'll assist in maintaining network security by supporting firewall management, security policies, and regular infrastructure reviews.
• You'll create and maintain technical documentation, asset inventories, and operational procedures while collaborating with cross-functional IT teams.
Skills and Qualifications
• 4 to 7 years of progressive experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in both operational and project-based environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, routing, and TCP/IP protocols.
• Proven experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN), this is a key requirement for the role.
• Experience supporting Fortinet firewalls and network security technologies, including VPNs and IPSEC tunneling.
• Experience with SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, or other modern networking technologies is considered an asset.
• Cisco wireless/Wi-Fi experience is strongly preferred.
• Diploma or degree in Computer Science or a related discipline. Relevant networking certifications such as Cisco, Network+, Security+, or Microsoft Azure Networking are considered an asset.
