Salary: $60-80K base salary plus uncapped commissions
Location:

Within our Professional & Financial Services staffing division, you’ll play a hands-on role in expanding established staffing practices, partnering closely with clients across a variety of industries, and delivering thoughtful, people-first staffing solutions.

Your Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities will include but may not be limited to the following:

  • Identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities expanding our presence in the Professional & Financial Services marketplace across Canada, with a primary focus on Ontario
  • Building strong networks and spheres of influence to expand pipelines
  • Expanding business within existing or former clients by maintaining and growing strong relationships, identifying service gaps and new service opportunities, and through multi-service growth potential 
  • Converting qualified leads into active job orders and long-term engagements 
  • Visiting top clients in-person and virtually
  • Preparing and delivering presentations on staffing services
  • Acting as a subject matter expert, advising clients on market trends, labour dynamics, and recruitment challenges
  • Operating from a service mindset; listening to client issues and identifying staffing solutions
  • Negotiating and closing deals; handling complaints or objections
  • Retaining clients by providing superior customer service and staffing support
  • Cross selling to identify opportunities for other divisions
  • Marketing strong candidate resources based on client needs
  • Resolving any issues that arise throughout the placement process
  • Conducting after placement service calls and visits with both candidates and clients
  • Pursuing Vendor Agreements and staying on top of renewal dates as required
  • Adhering to our high standard of service and delivery
  • Preparing and reporting on sales goals
  • Participating in virtual and in-person networking events and conferences on behalf of the company

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2+ years of progressive experience in sales or business development with a preference for client-facing roles; staffing industry experience not required
  • Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Must be based in the Greater Toronto or Greater Ottawa Area to meet with clients in-person as needed
  • Passion for establishing and fostering new client relationships
  • You are a driven professional who is self-motivated to achieve and exceed individual and team goals
  • Focused on driving client/candidate success and delivering the ultimate experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • You are a team player who loves to work collaboratively
  • Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
  • Technical aptitude in the use of business software
  • University Degree or College Diploma preferred
