Join a collaborative technology team supporting a large public sector environment where reliable, secure, and modern network infrastructure is essential to delivering critical services. This role is ideal for an experienced Network Specialist who enjoys solving complex technical challenges while contributing to the stability, modernization, and continuous improvement of enterprise network services.

Working alongside experienced infrastructure and network security professionals, you'll play an important role in operational support, technology refresh initiatives, and production readiness. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to large-scale networking projects while helping drive innovation, resilience, and operational excellence in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll play a key role in network operations, supporting infrastructure evergreening initiatives and day-to-day operational activities.
• You'll resolve complex cross-functional technical issues while ensuring timely restoration of critical services.
• You'll participate in planning and executing production validation, performance, failover, disaster recovery, and vulnerability remediation testing.
• You'll analyze existing network environments to identify opportunities for simplification, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• You'll implement upgrades and infrastructure changes to support evolving business requirements and operational needs.
• You'll troubleshoot production and non-production environments while contributing throughout the development lifecycle using Agile and CI/CD practices.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of recent experience in network testing, operations, development, integration, or network management environments.
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, including Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 9300, Cisco 6508, and Cisco APIC.
• Demonstrated experience with Azure Cloud Networking and scalable, highly available service-oriented architectures.
• Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD).
• Strong understanding of IT Operations and experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• Experience with ServiceNow and Cisco ASA and/or Check Point firewalls is considered an asset.
