Our client, a well-established organization, is seeking experienced Payroll Officers to join a collaborative payroll team supporting a high-volume workforce. Your Responsibilities
- You'll process full-cycle Canadian payroll using Dayforce (Ceridian) or a similar payroll system.
- You'll validate payroll calculations, process adjustments, reconciliations, and ensure payroll accuracy.
- You'll prepare and administer Records of Employment (ROEs) while maintaining compliance with payroll legislation.
- You'll investigate and resolve payroll inquiries and discrepancies, providing timely support to employees and field staff.
- You'll support payroll reporting, reconciliations, and accounting activities related to payroll postings.
- You'll assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, including invoice processing, payment tracking, and reconciliations.
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 to 5+ years of full-cycle Canadian payroll processing experience in a high-volume environment.
- Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation, including CPP, EI, income tax deductions, WSIB, and ROE administration.
- Experience using Dayforce (Ceridian) or a comparable payroll system.
- Accounting experience supporting Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
