About the Opportunity
Join a large, highly regulated financial institution undergoing a significant Cyber Resilience Transformation initiative. This is an opportunity to shape the future of Identity and Access Management by developing enterprise-wide strategies, architectures, and governance models that strengthen security while enabling innovation.
In this senior consulting role, you'll collaborate with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to advance Zero Trust principles across the organization. Your expertise will directly influence the secure adoption of emerging technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, while helping build a resilient and modern identity ecosystem.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll define the strategic direction, target-state architecture, and multi-year roadmap for enterprise Identity and Access Management capabilities.
• You'll design and govern IAM architecture, including identity governance, privileged access management, authentication, authorization, and Zero Trust identity controls.
• You'll establish enterprise standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks, and design patterns using technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, CyberArk, and Azure Key Vault.
• You'll provide architectural oversight and technical guidance for IAM initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture, security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
• You'll identify IAM capability gaps, security risks, and compliance deficiencies, developing practical, risk-based remediation strategies.
• You'll collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to embed identity controls into cloud, infrastructure, application, and AI-enabled solutions while providing expert guidance and knowledge transfer.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of recent experience in information technology, Identity and Access Management, or cybersecurity.
• 3+ years of recent experience as an IAM Architect or Identity Security Consultant within complex, highly regulated environments.
• University degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience assessing current-state IAM capabilities and developing target-state architectures, roadmaps, governance frameworks, and reference architectures.
• Strong experience with identity governance, privileged access management, authentication, authorization, Zero Trust identity, lifecycle management, and compliance controls.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID, SailPoint, CyberArk, Azure Key Vault, and enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, or comparable methodologies.
• Experience working within the financial sector or another highly regulated industry. Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, Microsoft, SailPoint, CyberArk, TOGAF, or SABSA are considered strong assets.
