Working closely with finance leadership and cross-functional business partners, you'll lead a collaborative team while helping drive operational excellence. Your Responsibilities
• You'll oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with IFRS.
• You'll lead billing operations, reviewing billing accuracy, resolving discrepancies, and supporting revenue recognition in accordance with contractual terms.
• You'll manage cash posting and cash application activities, ensuring timely reconciliations and accurate financial records.
• You'll coordinate external audit activities, prepare supporting documentation, and maintain strong internal controls.
• You'll coach and mentor members of the finance team, balancing workloads, supporting development, and fostering a collaborative environment.
• You'll identify opportunities to improve processes, strengthen controls, and enhance operational efficiency through automation and best practices.
Skills and Qualifications
• 7-10 years of Finance and Accounting experience in a leadership capacity.
• CPA designation with a strong technical accounting background and comprehensive knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with ERP systems, including Workday. Experience with SAP, PeopleSoft, or Great Plains is considered an asset.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly within billing operations and financial reporting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage competing deadlines, communicate effectively, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
