Your Responsibilities
• You'll welcome patients, complete registrations, answer high-volume phone calls, and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk.
• You'll coordinate appointments, manage referrals, and ensure patient information is complete and accurate.
• In this role, you'll support referral triage by reviewing documentation and communicating with referring physicians to obtain any outstanding information.
• You'll maintain accurate patient records while using electronic medical record systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• You'll work closely with physicians, nurses, and administrative colleagues to ensure efficient clinic operations and a seamless patient experience.
Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of medical administrative or healthcare clerical experience in a busy clinical environment
• Experience with patient registration, appointment scheduling, referrals, or medical booking processes
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate professionally and empathetically with patients
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with strong attention to detail and a sense of urgency
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office applications, including spreadsheets
• Experience with Meditech and/or Accuro is considered a strong asset
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively within a collaborative team environment
