System Engineer

Your Responsibilities
• You'll develop software solutions, scripts, and automation tools that improve operational efficiency.
• You'll collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders to design, build, and enhance digital applications.
• You'll support system integrations through APIs and modern development practices.
• You'll leverage Python and other programming languages to streamline workflows and solve business challenges.
• You'll contribute to AI and emerging technology initiatives, including evaluating and implementing innovative solutions.
• You'll participate in testing, troubleshooting, documentation, and continuous improvement activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

Skills and Qualifications
• Recent graduate or up to 2 years of experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Experience programming in Python, C#, Java, or similar object-oriented languages.
• Exposure to AI, machine learning, generative AI, or LLM-based projects through academic, personal, or professional experience.
• Experience working with SQL, APIs, Git, and modern software development practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure is considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning new technologies.
• Experience building automation tools, dashboards, or internal applications through internships, co-op placements, or personal projects is highly valued.
