About the Opportunity
We are seeking an Intermediate Business Analyst to support a high-impact public sector technology initiative focused on governance, risk, compliance, reporting, and enterprise platform capabilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements that help teams make better decisions.

You will work closely with stakeholders, technical teams, and project partners to strengthen processes across ServiceNow modules such as GRC, IRM, CMDB, APM, or TPM. Your work will help improve visibility, compliance, audit readiness, and executive reporting in an environment where accuracy, collaboration, and thoughtful analysis matter.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements through BRDs, FRDs, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria
• In this role, you’ll create process maps, workflow designs, gap analyses, and requirements traceability documentation
• You’ll support ServiceNow-related initiatives involving GRC, IRM, CMDB, APM, TPM, workflows, Performance Analytics, dashboards, and reporting
• You’ll define KPIs, scorecards, compliance metrics, executive reporting needs, and management reports
• You’ll support data mapping, data validation, application dependency analysis, integration analysis, and interface requirements
• You’ll facilitate UAT, create and execute test scenarios, analyze defects, validate requirements, and support quality assurance activities
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to assess needs, clarify priorities, and support audit, compliance, access control, privacy, security, and governance requirements

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of business analysis experience, ideally supporting technology, risk, compliance, or enterprise platform initiatives
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements for ServiceNow GRC, IRM, CMDB, APM, or TPM modules
• Strong understanding of attestation, certification, compliance, audit, risk management, governance, scorecards, and executive reporting
• Proficiency creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process maps, use cases, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
• Experience supporting UAT, test scenario creation, defect analysis, data validation, and requirements traceability
• Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, Performance Analytics, reporting, dashboards, and platform capabilities
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, analytical thinking, and communication skills, with public sector experience considered an asset
