About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Regulatory Records Coordinator to support a newly created, project-based data governance initiative within the Market Regulation division. This role will focus on reviewing, assessing, and securely managing regulatory records to support privacy compliance requirements.
This position will support a high-priority privacy initiative focused on identifying, categorizing, and preparing confidential client-level information for secure removal. The successful candidate will review large volumes of electronic records stored across multiple systems, apply defined privacy criteria, and ensure documentation is accurately classified and handled.

Your Responsibilities
- You’ll review and assess large volumes of regulatory documents across multiple systems, including document management platforms, shared drives, CRM systems, and file repositories
- You’ll identify and categorize records containing client-identifying information.
- You’ll locate, organize, and validate records dating back to 2015 and earlier to support privacy and records management objectives
- You’ll prepare records for secure deletion, anonymization, or escalation where appropriate
- You’ll maintain accurate documentation of review activities, decisions, and file handling processes
- You’ll perform quality checks to ensure sensitive information has been properly identified and addressed
- You’ll navigate both structured and unstructured file environments and apply consistent review practices
- You’ll collaborate with internal stakeholders to confirm missing information, clarify documentation, and support project completion
- You’ll confidently communicate with team members when additional details or records are required
Skills and Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Law, Information Management, or a related field
- Experience in compliance, privacy, records management, data governance, or regulatory environments is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while reviewing high volumes of repetitive information
- Comfortable working with document management systems and navigating electronic file structures
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to categorize, track, and manage large amounts of information
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to ask questions and collaborate with internal stakeholders
- Ability to work independently while following established processes and guidelines
- Comfortable performing administrative and document review tasks that require consistency and focus
