About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Credit Analyst to join a fast-paced commercial finance team supporting customers across the transportation and equipment sectors. In this role, you will help businesses access financing and leasing solutions that keep essential industries moving.

You will work closely with dealers, sales partners, customers, and internal teams to review credit submissions, assess risk, and support sound lending decisions. This is an opportunity to apply your financial analysis skills in a collaborative, customer-focused environment where your judgment directly supports business growth.

What’s In It for You
You will join a supportive, high-performing team that values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. This opportunity offers exposure to commercial finance, dealer relationships, credit decisioning, and process improvement in a professional environment that encourages learning and growth.

The role also offers a competitive compensation package, incentive plan, RRSP matching, group benefits, wellness supports, and access to ongoing career development.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll review and adjudicate commercial credit submissions for financing and leasing transactions.
• In this role, you’ll analyze customer profiles, credit bureau information, financial statements, cash flow, and key financial ratios.
• You’ll document credit decisions clearly and ensure approvals align with established credit policies and delegated authority.
• You’ll partner with sales teams, dealers, and customers to negotiate transactions and communicate decisions in a timely, professional way.
• You’ll confirm documentation, insurance, and security requirements are complete before credit approvals are finalized.
• You’ll prepare written credit reviews and recommend credit lines for current and prospective customers.
• You’ll support process improvements, system enhancements, and backup coverage for larger exposure transactions.

Skills and Qualifications
• 3+ years of related finance, credit, or commercial underwriting experience.
• Experience with small to mid-ticket commercial credit adjudication, commercial transactions, and loan or lease documentation.
• Strong financial statement analysis, cash flow analysis, credit bureau review, and risk assessment skills.
• Knowledge of security documentation, basic security perfection procedures, customer service, credit, and collections.
• Experience with T-Value, financial spreading tools, and Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• A business degree or related education, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong organization, negotiation, attention to detail, sound business judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced team environment.

Note from the Hiring Manager
We’re looking for someone who can balance strong credit judgment with a customer-focused mindset. The right person will be analytical, collaborative, and confident making recommendations that support both the business and the customer.
