About the Opportunity
Join a collaborative consulting team supporting a large-scale Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail transformation for a leading enterprise organization. This is an opportunity to take ownership of the retail merchandising solution, working closely with business stakeholders and delivery teams to shape a modern retail experience that supports both in-store and omni-channel operations.
As the senior functional expert, you will combine solution architecture with hands-on business analysis, leading client discussions, defining business requirements, and designing scalable D365 Retail solutions. Your expertise will directly influence project success while partnering with experienced consultants in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead the end-to-end solution design for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail Merchandising, serving as the primary functional authority and solution architect.
• You'll facilitate requirements gathering across merchandising functions, including assortment and category management, product and catalog setup, pricing and promotions, inventory, replenishment, and purchasing.
• You'll translate business requirements into scalable D365 Retail solutions, identifying opportunities to leverage standard functionality while evaluating customization needs.
• You'll validate and assess existing solution designs, providing recommendations to improve alignment with business objectives and platform capabilities.
• You'll advise business stakeholders on industry best practices while partnering with technical delivery teams throughout build, testing, and deployment activities.
Skills and Qualifications
• Extensive experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Retail/Commerce, with deep expertise in the Merchandising functional area.
• Proven experience operating as a Solution Architect, owning functional design decisions and solution strategy.
• Demonstrated experience delivering brick-and-mortar retail implementations, including store operations and in-store merchandising.
• Strong omni-channel retail experience supporting unified merchandising and inventory management across multiple sales channels.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the executive presence to confidently lead client workshops and strategic discussions.
• Experience with D365 Retail/Commerce Point of Sale (POS) capabilities is considered an asset.
• Previous consulting or professional services experience and exposure to specialty or multi-store retail environments are highly valued.
