Your Responsibilities
• You'll collaborate with cross-functional product teams to analyze requirements, design, develop, and implement cloud-based data and analytics solutions.
• You'll design, build, and maintain Azure-based data lakes, lakehouses, automated data pipelines, and analytics models.
• You'll support the migration of legacy Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory pipelines into Databricks solutions leveraging Delta Lake and native orchestration capabilities.
• You'll develop reusable frameworks and standards that simplify data pipeline development and improve consistency.
• You'll participate in code reviews, knowledge transfer sessions, and documentation to promote quality, collaboration, and best practices.
• You'll troubleshoot complex technical issues, recommend effective solutions, and support operational excellence across cloud data platforms.
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience working within Microsoft Azure data environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience using Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Python, and SQL.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining cloud-based data lakes, lakehouses, and automated data pipelines.
• Experience working with Medallion Architecture, with exposure to Databricks Unity Catalog considered an asset.
• Experience with Azure Storage, Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse Analytics, Power BI, GitHub, and CI/CD practices.
• Experience participating in Agile delivery teams, conducting peer code reviews, and preparing knowledge transfer documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
