Location: Whitby, ON (Monday - Thursday onsite, Friday - work from home)
Language: Excellent written and verbal English communication skills

Working alongside experienced HR professionals, you'll play an important role in supporting absence and attendance administration during a busy operational period. We're especially interested in candidates who have previously worked in a similar HR support capacity or have hands-on experience supporting absence and attendance management within their current role, ideally in an educational institution or similarly complex organization.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll update, maintain, and audit employee absence records within HR information systems, including K212 and Oracle.
• You'll process absence-related transactions and adjustments, including sick leave and WSIB leave types.
• You'll review, validate, and reconcile absence data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• You'll calculate employee leave balances, accruals, entitlements, and required adjustments.
• You'll investigate discrepancies, perform mathematical analysis, and make appropriate record corrections.
• You'll maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive employee information at all times.

Skills and Qualifications
• 2+ years of experience supporting HR operations, absence management, attendance administration, or HR information systems.
• Experience maintaining and auditing employee absence or attendance records with a high degree of accuracy.
• Strong analytical and mathematical skills with the ability to reconcile data and identify discrepancies.
• Experience with K212 and/or Oracle is considered a strong asset.
• Previous experience working within an educational institution or supporting a unionized workforce is considered a strong asset.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
