About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a high-impact campus security enhancement initiative for a public sector, higher education environment. This work will begin with the replacement and modernization of radio communications infrastructure supporting critical protection and security operations.

This is a highly visible role where you will work closely with technical teams, operational leaders, vendors, and key stakeholders to deliver a secure, reliable, and future-ready communications solution. Your leadership will help ensure essential teams have the tools and systems they need to respond effectively and support a safe campus environment.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the end-to-end delivery of a radio communications infrastructure modernization project, from planning and RFP support through vendor selection and implementation
• In this role, you’ll coordinate project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, and deliverables while keeping stakeholders aligned and informed
• You’ll manage project budgets exceeding $250,000, ensuring strong financial oversight and transparent reporting
• You’ll work closely with technical, operational, procurement, and vendor teams to support solution design, acceptance testing, and commissioning
• You’ll apply structured project management methodology to guide decision-making, governance, and project execution
• You’ll support critical operations by ensuring the solution meets security, reliability, and operational continuity requirements

Skills and Qualifications
• 10+ years of senior IT project management experience leading complex infrastructure or operational technology projects
PMP designation required
• University degree required
• Experience in telecom, radio frequency, operationally critical services, or related technical environments
• Proven experience leading end-to-end solution implementations, including RFP support, vendor evaluation, and vendor selection
• Experience delivering projects in public sector, higher education, municipal, emergency services, policing, security, telecommunications, or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience with radio communications systems, dispatch environments, emergency communications, technical acceptance testing, or operational commissioning is preferred
