In this role, you'll provide functional support for SAP manufacturing solutions across Canada and North America, working within an established SAP ECC6 and APO environment. You'll collaborate with business users, plant operations, and global IT teams to resolve issues, implement system enhancements, and ensure manufacturing processes continue to run efficiently.
While the organization plans to transition to SAP S/4HANA in the future, this position is primarily focused on supporting and optimizing the existing SAP ECC6/APO landscape. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving business problems, supporting manufacturing operations, and becoming a subject matter expert in specialized cable manufacturing processes.

- Work in a collaborative international environment supporting manufacturing operations across Canada and North America.
- Gain exposure to specialized cable manufacturing processes and industry-specific SAP solutions.
- Opportunity to contribute to future SAP S/4HANA initiatives as the organization's roadmap evolves.
- Comprehensive benefits package including flexible health, dental and vision coverage, company-matched Defined Contribution pension plan, and additional voluntary retirement savings options.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide functional support for SAP PP and APO applications, ensuring reliable day-to-day manufacturing operations.
- Analyze and resolve production support issues, troubleshoot system incidents, and coordinate enhancements with business stakeholders.
- Configure and maintain SAP manufacturing solutions within the existing ECC6/APO environment.
- Collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and global IT teams to support business requirements and continuous process improvements.
- Prepare functional specifications and coordinate testing for system enhancements.
- Support future deployments and system improvements as business needs evolve.
- Develop an understanding of the organization's specialized cable manufacturing processes and adapt SAP solutions to support those requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience supporting SAP PP and SAP APO within a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience supporting SAP ECC6 manufacturing systems.
- Working knowledge of APO PP/DS.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes including MRP, production orders, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
- Experience providing production support, troubleshooting issues, and delivering functional enhancements.
- SAP QM and/or SAP PM experience would be considered a strong asset.
- Experience within cable manufacturing is highly desirable; experience in similar manufacturing industries such as paper, pulp, metals, or other continuous manufacturing environments will also be considered.
- Ability to prepare clear functional specifications and technical documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.
