About the Opportunity
A leading manufacturing organization is expanding its Materials team and is seeking a Materials Management System Administration Clerk to support critical ERP and data management activities. This newly created role was designed to help meet growing business demands by ensuring planning data remains accurate, up to date, and aligned with production requirements.

Reporting to the Materials Manager and working closely with an experienced Materials ERP Analyst, you'll receive hands-on training and mentorship while supporting cross-functional teams including Logistics, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales. This opportunity is ideal for a recent graduate or early-career professional with a strong IT or data analytics background who enjoys working with large datasets, solving problems, and improving processes through technology.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll maintain and update ERP and internal systems to ensure planning, forecasting, and demand data remains accurate and current.
• You'll analyze large datasets using advanced Microsoft Excel to identify trends, validate information, and support business decisions.
• You'll assist with maintaining material master data, bills of materials, routings, sales orders, and production orders within SAP and internal systems.
• You'll support inventory planning by reviewing data, identifying discrepancies, and escalating issues requiring further investigation.
• You'll collaborate with Logistics, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales teams to ensure accurate system information and material planning.
• You'll assist with resolving ERP data issues, maintaining theoretical demand, and supporting ongoing process improvements.
• You'll contribute to additional ERP administration and data management activities as business needs evolve.

Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or College diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, including filters, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, PivotTables, and the ability to work confidently with complex spreadsheets. Experience with Macros or VBA is considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for working with data.
• Exposure to SAP or another ERP system is preferred but can be gained through internships, co-op placements, or academic projects.
• Experience with Python, VBA, PowerShell, Power Automate, or other programming and automation tools is considered an asset.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a cross-functional team.
• Manufacturing, production, supply chain, or operations experience is considered an asset but is not required.
