Join a collaborative commercial property management team where you'll play a key role in ensuring a high-profile office building operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Building Operator who enjoys solving problems, maintaining critical building systems, and contributing to a positive tenant experience.

Working alongside an experienced Senior Property Manager and trusted service providers, you'll help support daily operations while promoting sustainability, workplace safety, and preventative maintenance. This role offers meaningful exposure to all aspects of commercial building operations, with the potential for longer-term opportunities as business needs evolve.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll support the daily operation, monitoring, and maintenance of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, BAS, and life safety systems.
• You'll coordinate and work alongside external contractors, ensuring maintenance and repair work is completed safely and efficiently.
• You'll perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot building equipment, and respond to maintenance requests using the Angus PM and TR systems.
• You'll conduct routine inspections, system testing, and maintain accurate operator logs, compliance records, and maintenance documentation.
• You'll contribute to energy management initiatives while ensuring corporate health, safety, environmental, and sustainability standards are consistently followed.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of building operations experience preferred, with a minimum of approximately 2 years supporting commercial buildings.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, life safety, and other commercial building systems.
• Experience using computerized maintenance management systems and Building Automation Systems (BAS) is considered an asset.
• BES certification is required.
• Valid driver's licence with the ability to travel as required.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Eligible to obtain a PWGSC Security Clearance Level II. Bilingualism is considered an asset.
