This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by partnering with leaders, developing talent, and helping shape a positive workplace culture.

Reporting to the Senior Human Resources Director, you'll join a collaborative leadership team where your ideas and expertise will be valued. You'll lead a growing HR team while balancing strategic initiatives with hands-on operational support, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, coaching others, and driving continuous improvement.

What's In It for You
• Join a collaborative leadership team where your voice and ideas matter.
• Lead and mentor a developing HR team while helping shape the site's people strategy.
• Enjoy a structured onboarding program with mentorship and cross-functional exposure.
• Three weeks of vacation, comprehensive benefits after 90 days, RRSP matching, and flexibility for occasional personal appointments.
• Be part of an organization that values initiative, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Your Responsibilities
• You'll lead the HR function for the organization's largest manufacturing site, partnering closely with site leadership on strategic and operational priorities.
• You'll coach, mentor, and develop a team of HR Generalists, HR Administrators, and support staff while fostering a collaborative team environment.
• You'll oversee employee relations, workplace investigations, performance management, compensation, engagement initiatives, and policy development.
• You'll build trusted relationships with operational leaders, proactively identifying people solutions that support business objectives.
• You'll oversee compliance with employment legislation, HR audits, occupational injury management, and workplace policies.
• You'll champion employee engagement activities, recognition initiatives, and site-wide HR programs.

Skills and Qualifications
• 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Experience leading HR within a manufacturing or other fast-paced operational environment is considered a strong asset.
• Strong knowledge of Canadian employment legislation, employee relations, workplace investigations, compensation, and performance management.
• Proven experience leading, coaching, and mentoring developing HR professionals.
• Experience with ADP or similar HRIS platforms, along with strong comfort using technology. Experience with Canva is an asset.
• A relationship-focused, proactive, and adaptable leadership style with the ability to build credibility quickly across all levels of the organization.
• Ability to prioritize competing demands, think independently, and maintain a strong sense of urgency.
